INTRODUCTION

As climate change becomes a global priority, business entities within an ecosystem must take strategic steps so that business activities are aligned with long-term growth. The Energy Transition Initiative (ETI) plays a role as an independent research bureau in guiding business entities to enter a concept of sustainability in utilizing existing energy sources.

Utilization of energy as a source of business sustainability must be oriented towards the concept of green energy. Through studies and assistance, ETI will deliver green energy as a foothold in utilizing technology that will help business entities transition to renewable energy, reduce operational costs and contribute to environmental sustainability.

OUR TEAM

Rapin Mudiardjo, a seasoned legal expert with over 20 years ofexperience, began his career as a journalist, honing his investigative skills. He graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia, in 2002 and founded the Center for ICT Studies-ICTWatch.

Rapin has handled numerous high-impact cases, including election disputes and international arbitration. He has also served as a Deputy at ID-SIRTI, expanding his network within the government. Currently, he is the Managing Partner at Hufaida & Partners Law Office, specializing in commercial litigation, telecommunications, intellectual property rights, energy, environment, and aviation. Rapin is pursuing a Doctoral Program in economic law and technology at the University of Indonesia.

Lecturer of FEB UI and ekonom of INDEF graduated from University of Indonesia, Free University Amsterdam, Netherlands and University of Siena, Italy with teaching and research experience for government, private and international institutions for 15 years. Conveys his thoughts in scientific journals, print, electronic and TV media. Active in professional and social organizations.

Sunu completed his Master’s Degree in Business Law at the University of Indonesia in 2007 and completed his Bachelor of Law education at the University of Indonesia in 1995. Sunu has a risk management certification for Banking, level 4 in 2020 which has been updated as level 6 in 2023. Sunu is certified as an Advocate and nominated as “the most respected in-house counsel in Indonesia” by Hukumonline in 2022 for his dedication, achievements and experience.

Sunu joined Mudiardjo & Co as a Senior Partner with nearly 3 decades of experience in Banking and Finance. Prior to joining Mudiardjo & Co, Sunu was Senior Vice President of Indonesia Eximbank (Lembaga Pembiayaan Ekspor Indonesia or abbreviated as LPEI) where he was trusted to hold various important roles in the institution, from Head of Legal Division, Head of Human Resources Division, Head of Compliance Division, Head of Risk Analysis Division, Head of Restructuring Division, to Corporate Secretary of Indonesia Eximbank.
